Global Horizons
HORIZONS is a global training program which arose by listening to the needs of hundreds of grassroots youth workers as to what they REALLY needed, to do an effective job in their ministry to young people, both inside and outside the local church. It is made free of charge to any youth and children worker in the world through the generosity of sponsors.

Horizons has been helping me make sense of youth ministry. I like that while I am getting useful information, I have an opportunity to reflect on my own journey as a person and a youth director. Additionally, I receive feedback and encouragement in response to my written reflections. I think the beautiful thing about this program is that it provides a framework to approach youth ministry while allowing me to work out how I will apply what I am learning in my unique context of ministry.

My journey through the Horizon Leaders Training was extremely insightful and impactful. As a leader of the teens and children's ministry of my local church, I was exposed to and equipped with different and relatable ways that will help me transform the current state of my ministry into a more desirable and effective one. If I had to sum up my experience in the Horizons youth course in one word, it would be "eye-opening." This course taught me how to apply the word of God to my everyday life, and in turn, I was able to teach the youth in my group the same. One thing I really loved about this course is the fact that it shows you the power of Christ's love, and for some people, the only way they are going to experience the Love of Christ is through us. I will recommend this course to anybody who works with youth, be it a teacher, pastor, youth leader, etc.

I started by following the course’s modules and I was not disappointed, to the contrary, I am very amazed by the quality of the curriculum offered as well as by the platform that the Horizons program gives us, to be able to raise to the faces of our churches the seriousness of youth ministry. I am blessed by the Horizons Youth leadership program and would like to share this blessing with all in my region. We have already started training 21 mentors in our region. We will introduce it to more youth leaders in our local churches and help them to edify themselves through Horizons training program. We will have leaders trained from other districts as well in the near future.
